45 young people between 18-25 years from Germany, Belarus, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia, Macedonia and Sweden are invited for a 9-day course of artistic workshops and group activities on our nice premises at the lakeside, 45 minutes from the centre of Berlin.
Our topic:
Millions of young people in Europe are unemployed. Spain: 57%, Poland: 28%, Germany: 7%. What are today´s perspectives for young people? Working in underpayed jobs they did not study for? Leaving the country? Becoming depressed? We will share our experiences, discuss current problems and will create innovative workplaces: How do we really want to work? What is important to us: work-life balance, payment, rights, opportunities, sutainability, mobility? Nothing is impossible. Together we will make it happen.
What are the activities?
Within five artistic workshops of 8-10 participants, led by professional artists you will explore the topic, develop ideas and create a unique artistic project which will be presented at the end of the exchange. With your workshop group you will go on excursions to Berlin, visit art-events and explore Berlin with much insight information. Our facilities include a theater studio, atelier, internet access and a great outdoor at the lake. In between workshop-sessions you may enjoy a variety of free time activities with the group or relax at the lake.
