Deutsch: In der Nacht von 8. auf 9. Mai 2020 jährte sich zum 75. Mal der Jahrestag des Endes des Zweiten Weltkriegs. Das Projekt ART WORKS! European Culture of Resistance and Liberation, das vom österreichischen Verein HASENHERZ und der Stiftung wannseeFORUM Berlin initiiert wurde und an der Schnittstelle von künstlerischer, kultureller und historisch-politischer Jugendbildung angesiedelt ist, feierte diesen Anlass mit einer digitalen Jugendbegegnung mit Teilnehmenden aus vier europäischen Staaten. Dabei waren Jugendgruppen des Zeithistorischen Zentrums Melk in Kooperation mit der FH St. Pölten (Österreich), Stiftung wannseeFORUM Berlin (Deutschland), MSU Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (Kroatien) und Museion Bozen (Italien). 

Zu sehen sind die Filme auch in Ausstellungen an den Projektstandorten. Start ist am 4.8.2020 in Bozen:
Art Works! European Culture of Resistance and Liberation – Kleines Museion (Cubo Garutti) eröffnet die erste Ausstellung mit den Arbeiten der jugendlichen Teilnehmer*innen

Das Projekt wurde gefördert von: erasmus+/Jugend in Aktion; Senatsverwaltung für Bildung, Jugend und Familie Berlin; Nationalfonds der Republik Österreich für Opfer des Nationalsozialismus; Zukunftsfonds der Republik Österreich, KiöR Kunst im öffentlichen Raum Niederösterreich und dem Viertelfestival Niederösterreich. 

Unser Projekt ART WORKS! ist eines der Beispiele des Europarats für gute Praxis in der Jugendpolitik und Jugendarbeit in Zeiten von COVID-19

English: May 9th marked the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The project ART WORKS! European Culture of Resistance and Liberation, initiated by the Austrian association HASENHERZ and Foundation wannseeFORUM Berlin, and located at the intersection of artistic, cultural and historical-political youth education aims to celebrate this occasion. Youth groups from the Center of Contemporary History Melk in cooperation with FH St. Pölten (Austria), the MSU Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb (Croatia), the Foundation wannseeFORUM Berlin (Germany), and Museion Bolzano (Italy) participated in an online youth encounter.

The films can also be seen in exhibitions at the project locations. Start is on 4.8.2020 in Bozen:
