The world is a guest at the WannseeFORUM. 62 young people, four continents, three cooperation partners, and one language. The success of the annual International Project Workshop of the WannseeFORUM, Goethe-Institut, and the Nelson Mandela School demonstrates how art promotes communication. This year, 34 young people came to the WannseeFORUM for a three-week German course offered by the Goethe-Institut. In the second week, they met 28 students from the Nelson Mandela School. In seven artistic workshops on the topic of time, they creatively explored how to communicate successfully in German: Whether in the photo lab, the dance hall, or at an evening party – the collaboration creates new opportunities for contact, sparks interest, and often results in friendship. The success of this now four-year collaboration was ceremoniously sealed with a contract .
