Zwei Monate Hospitation im wannseeFORUM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Der folgende Text wurde mit Hilfe von K\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz vom Englischen ins Deutsche \u00dcbersetzt.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe am Cross Culture Program -Stipendium teilgenommen, das vom Institut f\u00fcr Auslandsbeziehungen (IfA)<\/a> durchgef\u00fchrt wurde, wobei mein Hauptpraktikum an der Stiftung wannseeFORUM stattgefunden hat. Ziel des Stipendiums war es, Betriebsmodelle europ\u00e4ischer Jugendzentren und Jugendbildungsst\u00e4tten zu erkunden sowie ein tiefgreifendes Verst\u00e4ndnis der Qualit\u00e4tsstandards des Europarats f\u00fcr Jugendzentren zu erlangen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I participated in the Cross Culture Program Fellowship implemented by Institut f\u00fcr Auslandsbeziehungen (IfA)<\/a>, with my core placement at wannseeFORUM Foundation. The fellowship aimed to explore operational models of European youth centres and gain an in-depth understanding of the Council of Europe quality standards for youth centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neben meinem Praktikum nahm ich an Studienbesuchen bei mehreren deutschen Jugendorganisationen sowie an internationalen Veranstaltungen teil, darunter das Internationale Jugendfestival in Varna, Bulgarien, die \u201eQuality Open Badges\u201c-Schulung in Magdeburg, das Bildungsforum f\u00fcr Jugendzentren mit Qualit\u00e4tssiegel und der LevelUp-Netzwerkraum f\u00fcr P\u00e4dagog:innen in Bremen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside my placement, I took part in study visits to several German youth organisations, as well as international events including the International Youth Festival in Varna, Bulgaria, the „Quality Open Badges“ training in Magdeburg, the Educational Forum for Quality Label Youth Centres, and the LevelUp Networking Space for Civic Educators in Bremen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beim wannseeFORUM gewann ich einen tiefen Einblick in das p\u00e4dagogische Modell und die Arbeitsmethoden des Zentrums. Eine besonders wertvolle Erfahrung war die Auseinandersetzung mit dem Werkstattprinzip, einem f\u00fcnft\u00e4gigen kreativen Prozess, in dem junge Menschen einen k\u00fcnstlerischen Bereich (Theater, Medien, Malerei, Comics oder Musik) w\u00e4hlen, um ein bestimmtes Thema, wie beispielsweise einen Artikel aus der Europ\u00e4ischen Menschenrechtskonvention, zu erforschen und ihre Arbeit einer Gruppe aus Gleichaltrigen, Eltern und geladenen G\u00e4sten zu pr\u00e4sentieren. Diese Methode f\u00f6rdert Kreativit\u00e4t, Selbstvertrauen, Verantwortungsbewusstsein und die F\u00e4higkeit, vor einem Publikum zu pr\u00e4sentieren. Ich beobachtete auch den auf die Teilnehmenden ausgerichteten p\u00e4dagogischen Ansatz der Teamenden, die das Lernen durch die Schaffung eines unterst\u00fctzenden und vertrauensvollen Umfeldes f\u00f6rderten, anstatt Wissen im herk\u00f6mmlichen Sinne zu vermitteln. Dar\u00fcber hinaus habe ich den jugendBEIRAT des wannseeFORUMs kennengelernt \u2013 einen partizipativen Governance-Mechanismus, durch den junge Menschen an organisatorischen Entscheidungsprozessen mitwirken, wobei zwei Mitglieder des jugendBEIRATs im Kuratorium vertreten sind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At wannseeFORUM, I gained in-depth insight into the centre’s educational model and working methodologies. A particularly valuable experience was exploring the workshop principle \u2014 a five-day creative process in which young people choose an artistic field (theatre, media, painting, comics, or music) to explore a specific topic, such as an article from the European Convention on Human Rights, and present their work to a jury of peers, parents, and invited guests. This method fosters creativity, self-confidence, responsibility, and public presentation skills. I also observed the participant-centred pedagogical approach of trainers, who facilitate learning by creating a supportive and trust-based environment rather than transmitting knowledge in a traditional sense. Additionally, I became familiar with the wannseeFORUM Youth Council \u2014 a participatory governance mechanism through which young people contribute to organisational decision-making, with two Youth Council members serving on the Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Als n\u00e4chste Schritte plane ich, die Qualit\u00e4tsstandards des Europarats mit Vertretern des armenischen Jugendsektors zu teilen, einen Jugendrat im Jugendinitiativzentrum einzurichten und das Werkstattprinzip sowie andere Instrumente der nonformalen Bildung in der Arbeit meiner Organisation zu erproben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As next steps, I plan to share the Council of Europe Quality Standards with Armenian youth sector representatives, establish a Youth Council at the Youth Initiative Centre, and pilot the workshop principle and other non-formal education tools in my organisation’s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
