„Inclusion in the digital society“ was the opening theme of the civic education Barcamp, which took place from May 2nd to 4th, 2018, at the wannseeFORUM Foundation. The working basis was an expanded concept of inclusion, which refers to the equal participation of everyone in all areas of society.

A total of fifty participants, i.e., attendees and contributors, focused their exchange at this #bcpb on learning from each other, discussion, networking and joint idea development.

Iinput and interactive discussion the topic offered, among other things Michel Arriens, Online activist, blogger and speaker for inclusion and against (media) discrimination, Campaigner and Social Media Manager at Change.org, as well as actively participating in Leidmedien.de and in the Federal Association of People of Short Stature and their Families (BKMF) eV. Approaches and tools of Open Knowledge Foundation on „Inclusion in the digital society“ Lydia Böttcher conveyed this in her sessions.

In the published Session documentation This reflects the broad range of topics, tools, and ideas of #bcpb18.
