Do you want to travel to an unfamiliar place but don't know the local conditions? Do you need to know exactly what to expect due to a physical disability or impairment, but can't find the information you need? A lack of knowledge about a destination can make planning time-consuming and complicated. People without disabilities often don't realize how such barriers can hinder mobility and participation in everyday life. Simply letting things happen spontaneously isn't so easy for people with disabilities.
Therefore, we used various filming techniques to record and document what the wannseeFORUM educational center looks like, the layout of the pathways, and the location of accessible entrances, to help people find their way around more easily. This allows everyone to get an idea of what the place looks like and what activities are available there. The wannseeFORUM plans to remove further barriers to make it an educational center accessible to more people.
