The second participatory seminar in 2024 brought the Solling School With nearly 40 participants, the event took place at the wannseeFORUM. This allowed for a focus on individual concerns of the school and concrete work on the school's problems and projects.

On the first day, the students were able to discuss topics related to their school in a World Cafe format – such as what is currently going well and what is not, how the various committees like the student council are currently working, what current and past projects exist, and how they would imagine a dream school.
The artistic workshops in this seminar comprised film, podcasting, rap, and (dance) theater. After an initial introduction and a brief overview of the week on Monday, the participants divided into these four groups.
The film workshop created a short crime film this week, in which a murder is solved and which simultaneously takes a critical look at the topic of bullying. The group wrote the script, acted in front of and behind the camera during filming, and edited the film themselves.
Meanwhile, the podcast workshop explored past and present school experiences. To this end, the group conducted interviews with people who are currently attending school or have already graduated.

The rap workshop wrote a rap this week addressing the various dangers of drug use. They also filmed a music video on the grounds of the wannseeFORUM. (The link to the video is...) here)
The (dance) theatre workshop also created an impressive project during this week: The group devised their own piece, which in this case was particularly dance-oriented. It dealt with cohesion, exclusion, and community.
We would like to thank everyone who contributed this week and look back on an instructive week with impressive artistic as well as individual personal developments and results.
