In March 2024, the International Easter Workshop took place at the wannseeFORUM with the theme „"Borders and Bridges"“ Instead, young people from various European countries came together to explore how borders – whether physical, cultural, or social – influence our identity and how we can overcome these borders to build community and solidarity. In artistic workshops, the participants collaborated with professional artists and developed unique art projects based on the workshop questions. Whether photography, film, painting, music, or dance – each group contributed their perspectives and ideas to impressive works, which were presented in a final public exhibition.
In addition to creative work, the program also included shared leisure activities and a trip to the Berlin Wall Memorial. The beautiful grounds of the wannseeFORUM on the lake shore and the relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting for developing ideas in an inspiring environment. The six days together offered participants not only the opportunity to deepen their artistic skills but also to forge new friendships and engage intensively with the topic. „Bridges & Borders“ to deal with.
