On Saturday (April 11), the participants were divided into four mixed-nationality workshops and worked for two days under the guidance of experienced trainers on methods for inclusive youth work.
Depending on the interests of each workshop group, icebreakers and name games, warm-ups/energizers, exercises for reflecting on one's own identity and roles, anti-bias exercises, role-playing, movement games, etc., were examined from different perspectives. The participants identified potential barriers and collaboratively developed ideas on how to modify each exercise to minimize these barriers.
The results from the workshops were presented and discussed in plenary session on Monday, the penultimate day of the professional exchange, and are to be incorporated into a handbook.
