Which current airline headline is being recreated here through staged photography? Staging? Manipulation? Authenticity? Media creators aged 17 to 25 from all over Germany explored “#aFakeWorld” at BilderBewegungBerlin 2017 from August 26 to September 2, 2017. In this collaborative seminar with the German Children's and Youth Film Center (KJF), they created their own fictions and fakes in workshops on experimental short film, digital photography, and black-and-white analog photography.

To explore opinions, manipulation, perspectives, and other questions surrounding the topic of fake news, BilderBewegungBerlin launched a "FakeLab" in 2017. The first photos and films on the subject of fake news and fiction were created in a total of four stages.

His approaches and experiences, including his studies in photojournalism and documentary photography in Hanover and his time as a photography scholarship recipient of the STERN editorial team, provided many insights into the theme “#a FakeWorld”
