What do you know about the lives of young people in Israel? And what do they know about yours? There is often a large gap between the images in our minds and what our peers actually experience. The best way to close this gap is through encounters.
This is exactly the opportunity you'll have in autumn 2026: Together with ten young people from Holon (Israel) and ten young people from Berlin, you'll spend a week participating in art workshops, excursions, and many other activities. You decide what you want to work on and ultimately make visible what resonated with you during your time together. Then, during the return visit to Holon in spring 2027, you will be guests in Israel.
For whom:
Are you between 14 and 18 years old and interested in meeting peers from another country? Then apply! No prior knowledge or artistic talent is required. Just bring curiosity and a desire for exchange!
When:
November 2026
Where:
wannseeFORUM
Cost:
A total of €150 for the two meetings (Holon and Berlin, so €75 per meeting) including accommodation, travel expenses, food and program.
If the fee is difficult for you or your family to manage, please contact us – we will find a solution together.
What to expect
- Artistic workshops where you decide for yourselves which tools you work with.
- Worth asking: How do our societies remember? What determines how we live together? What do you expect from the future?
- Overnight stay at the wannseeFORUM, in shared rooms with private bathrooms
- The prospect of a return visit to Holon, where you will be guests and can discover Israel.
