What is the JuLeiCa?
Training for young people between 16 and 27 years old
A youth leader card is yours certificate For learning how to work with young people. It's a card you can show when you've completed a [profession/training program]. Holiday camp supervise a workshop team or, especially if you are in wannseeFORUM You might want to take on a night watch job. Often, the JuLeiCa (Youth Leader Card) is a prerequisite for such jobs. Furthermore, the JuLeiCa is considered as Volunteer ID card and brings you discounts in various places.
How do I get the JuLeiCa (Youth Leader Card)?
To get the card, there's a training course. We're holding this during the autumn holidays. Important: You must attend the entire training course to receive the JuLeiCa (Youth Leader Card). This also includes a... First aid course, which you do separately Passport photo and then you will receive the card.
What will I learn during the training?
You will get specific Methods to learn how to work with children and young people. We will go through the process together. legal situation through, for example, the duty of supervision. You will also learn Group dynamics know, communicationSkills, basics diversity-conscious pedagogy and much more.
What is happening on site?
Arrival is by approximately 10:00 AM on Monday (exact seminar times will be announced later). Tuesday through Friday will be a full program, and departure is around 4:30 PM on Saturday. We will begin with a relaxed start to the program, getting to know each other and working through the content together.
What are the requirements for participation?
You must be able to attend the entire duration. If you are unable to attend, for example, for a single day, we unfortunately cannot issue you the certificate. The training is offered free of charge to members of the youth advisory board. We do this because the youth advisory board volunteers its time at various events for the wannseeFORUM, and we want to acknowledge their work through such training and further education. Furthermore, the Youth Leader Card (JuLeiCa) is a prerequisite for taking on tasks at the wannseeFORUM itself, such as night watch or seminar assistance.
Even those who are not members of the youth advisory board can participate! The participation fee, including the training itself, meals (4 meals a day) and accommodation, is €21 per day, or €126 for the week.
