For the third time, the youth advisory board of the wannseeFORUM foundation organized its own seminar over the Pentecost weekend – by young people for young people. And as in previous years, it became clear: when young people plan things themselves, special spaces for encounters, discussions, and togetherness are created.

Following the thematic focuses of "Identity(ies)" and "Body and Mind" in recent years, this time the focus shifted to the question: How can young people actively participate in society? The intensive weekend moved between feelings of powerlessness in the face of social crises and the motivation to initiate change themselves.

With great creativity and energy, the topic of participation was made tangible in a variety of ways. Whether in barcamps, poster design, or open discussion rounds, exchange was always the focus. The workshop by Zweitzeugen eV was a particular highlight and shaped the discussions in the following days. On Sunday, an active session on communication focused on very concrete possibilities for action.

In addition to all the content, the things that make a youth advisory board seminar special were not neglected: laughing together, making music, playing games and the feeling of being part of a strong group.

From June 6th to 9th, 2025, the wannseeFORUM once again became a place where young people were given space and a voice, with a view of the lake, good food, new friendships and plenty of empowerment.

A huge thank you to all the participants who made the seminar what it was.
