denk!mal'21: TV broadcast on January 27th and digital exhibition
Every year, the youth forum denk!mal takes place in the Berlin House of Representatives. Due to the pandemic, the format changed in 2021. Berlin children and young people presented their memorial projects under the motto "You too determine the course of history!" in a digital exhibition this year. Among the projects is one by the wannseeFORUM Foundation and its cooperation partners:
ART WORKS! European Culture of Resistance and Liberation
And as part of that:
Oranienplatz: Refuge in the cellar of “Kuchen Kaiser”
In addition to the digital exhibition, a TV broadcast will air on January 27, 2021 at 6:00 PM. ALEX Berlin to see. The 12 program items broadcast there and the exhibition show, „that with our youth forum denk!mal we can once again send a message against antisemitism and racism this year – despite the pandemic-related restrictions.“,” said Parliament President Ralf Wieland.
