From November 7th to 11th, 2016, the "Berlin Development Policy Education Program," or "benbi" for short, will take place again at the FEZ in Berlin. For the 17th time, students from grades 3 to 13 from schools throughout Berlin will come together to learn about and discuss global events and interrelationships. This year's theme is "A World in Flux – Why Do People Leave Their Homes?" The wannseeFORUM will also be represented at benbi for the first time and will be presenting there together with the ASA program I will be offering a workshop. It deals with the topic of economic migration. Together with the participating students, I will explore how our consumption habits affect other countries or migration movements and what concrete options for action arise from this.
You can find more information about this year's benbi here. here.
Unfortunately, all places are already taken this year, but you can already reserve your spot for next year at benbi.
