Get involved, make your voice heard, make a difference
2025 felt like the beginning of a new generation in the youth advisory board.
Through the pfingstLAB We have gained many new members who bring fresh ideas, motivation, and courage. Towards the end of the year, the board was almost entirely replaced. This shows that young people want to be heard and seen.
Our youth advisory board weekends are more popular than ever. We use the time productively, plan new projects, and continue to grow together as a team. Structures are becoming more solid, responsibilities are being distributed more clearly, and at the same time, the enjoyment of our volunteer work is increasing.
We've also made some visual changes. Our logo is now accessible and we've designed new merchandise.

At the pfingstLAB The entire event was held under the motto "Power through participation".
We asked ourselves: Do we young people actually feel heard? What do I want to speak out about? The visit from Zweitzeugen e. V. (Second Witnesses Association) was particularly moving. Through them, we remembered Erna de Vries, a Holocaust survivor. We underscored her story with experimental music. This made it clear to us once again how important remembrance is. Something like this must never happen again!
In addition to this initial topic, a communication workshop also focused on the practical aspects of how we can use our own voice. Our Barcamp offered everything from poetry slams and discussions to the question, "Where and how can I get involved?".

Our summer event has also evolved. The summer cultural evening has become the summer stage. With „pulse of the youth“ we have given young voices a platform and shown how much energy, art and attitude our generation possesses.
Another highlight was our exchange with the European Youth Education Center in Magdeburg. New project ideas, intensive discussions, and a great Halloween party made the weekend a super cool experience.
At the end of the year, the newly named [event name] followed. winter evening. The atmosphere was special: from poetry slam to a band performance by the "Dead Chicken Wings" to singing together at the piano with a campfire atmosphere, everything was there.

A huge Thank you very much to all those who support, accompany and strengthen us every day.
We would especially like to thank Marcellina Rieger, who never loses sight of us and always has our backs. And Justus Kiese, without you, Padlet would be a complete disaster!
We look forward to another year full of ideas, courage, and young voices. We are excited to see what 2026 holds for us.
