On Saturday, June 8th, we at wannseeFORUM celebrated our traditional summer festival – the first ever organized by the wannseeFORUM Foundation. Thanks to the beautiful weather, the festival lived up to its name, and our guests were able to enjoy the program, the discussions, our park, and the diverse culinary offerings in summery temperatures.
The political representatives, such as Björn Eggert, MDA and youth policy spokesperson for the SPD, Holger Krestel, MP and member of the FDP, and Alexander Spies, MDA and Pirate Party member, also seemed thoroughly impressed – by the staged reading "Protest Remix" (developed by students from the Thomas Mann School, the Solling School, and the Carl von Ossietzky School), the buffet, the musical delights served up by DJ Norman and the Brassgirls, the insights into our educational work, the circus techniques of Circus Zack, and last but not least – in modern parlance – by chilling in the park. We would like to thank you, all our guests – the members of the Bundestag, the state parliament members, the participating students, teachers, guest lecturers, cooperation partners, and neighbors – once again for coming and celebrating with us, and we look forward to further joint activities and continued cooperation! The board of directors, the board of trustees and the team of wannseeFORUM
