The weather ultimately cooperated on this rather gray Sunday. The approximately 150 visitors who came to the wannseeFORUM Foundation for Open Monument Day in the afternoon were able to enjoy not only our delicious homemade cake and the building itself, but also the restored garden.
The team of three (Uta Denzin, Gabriele Naundorf and Heinz Blumensath), with excellent support from the building, were able to accompany many tours, answer questions about the building's history and the history and current work of the educational institution.
The film provided a small insight into what the house means for the young people and the permanent and freelance staff.
„"A word about the wannseeFORUM." And the children, who came along with their (generous) parents and are often bored at such events, went on discovery tours and tried out the foosball table and the mysterious hollows under the large beech trees.
In short, it was a success that gives us courage for a sequel in 2015!
