It's official: The wannseeFORUM Foundation will receive the "„Quality Label for Youth Centers“of the Council of Europe. This makes it the first youth education center in the German-speaking world to receive this award and one of currently 13 selected institutions across Europe. The decision followed an application process and a subsequent visit by several experts from the Council of Europe in September 2018 (read more here) here).
The award promotes Europe-wide networking of youth education centers and guarantees a high standard of quality through criteria established by the Council of Europe. At the official ceremony on August 31, 2019, at the wannseeFORUM Foundation, the label will be presented by Ms. Antje Rothemund, Director of the Youth departments of the Council of Europe, presented.
