It's official: The wannseeFORUM Foundation has been awarded the Council of Europe's " Quality Label for Youth Centers ." This makes it the first youth education center in the German-speaking world to receive this award and one of only 13 institutions selected across Europe. The decision followed an application process and a subsequent visit by several Council of Europe experts in September 2018 (read more here ).
The award promotes Europe-wide networking among youth education centers and guarantees a high standard of quality through criteria established by the Council of Europe. At the official ceremony on August 31, 2019, at the wannseeFORUM Foundation headquarters, the label will be presented by Ms. Antje Rothemund, Head of the Youth Department of the Council of Europe .
