It was loud, it was beautiful, it was impressive – the final reading of the media text workshop „Make yourself loud!“ On October 28, 2016, the 15 participants read their works created in the wannseeFORUM to an enthusiastic audience at Lettrétage in Kreuzberg.

Questions about offline and online publicity were the focus of the writing workshop in 2016. Creative Writing Association.. Who am I and how do I want to appear to the world? What am I allowed to say, what am I not allowed to say? What is an opinion, what is an insult? What is the truth, what is a lie?

In the search for answers, participants tried many things: from poetry slams and fragmented texts to poems and speechwriting, the spectrum was broad, filled with linguistic diversity and a wide range of content ideas. Further input came from an expert discussion with Margarete Stokowski, a journalist and author whose work spans everything from Twitter tweets to novels.

The texts were created in working groups such as "What is Satire?", "We Need to Speak (Out)," or, for example, "Blue Stories in Groups." In keeping with the theme of public engagement, publishing was already part of the overall concept during the work process in 2016.
