What a day! On July 29, 2023, nearly 300 visitors came together to celebrate the second summer event of the youth advisory board of the wannseeFORUM foundation – the summer open-air event „One Stage, Many Voices“.
Despite the unsettled weather, we started our open stage program punctually at 2 pm. The stage with its lake view was thus occupied by [unclear - possibly referring to performers] throughout the afternoon. Ferdi Rehn, Ponyo161, Chiara-Leonie, Antonie Lawrence and Joshua Moses The performance featured top-notch musicians and singers, including pop and indie music, a stage monologue, and various other styles.
Besides the stage acts, we were also very pleased with the art exhibition by Art by young Muslims in the fireplace room as well as a video installation of the talentCAMPus in the foyer of the country house.
After a brief interruption of the program due to thunderstorms, the concerts by the artists began in the early evening. merysingss, Dust of Apollon & ANA as well as Haller.
Furthermore, the entire day was filmed and a short film about the event was produced by Jonathan Gäßler.
The summer open-air event was part of the project "We are diverse! We are the future!" by the youth advisory board, project manager Jakob Hüfner. It was funded by the "Future Package for Movement, Culture and Health" of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ). The funding program is implemented by gsub and the SPI Foundation. The "Children and Youth Participation in the Future Package" component of the program is managed by the German Children and Youth Foundation (DKJS).
