In the photography workshop on the theme of "Roots," participants explored origin, identity, and connection. After an introduction to the camera, they created their own photographs and developed creative visual ideas. Participants worked individually and in groups, interpreting the theme in diverse ways.
The photos were then selected, printed, and presented in an exhibition. A museum visit, a trip to Berlin, and photographic work in nature complemented the workshop.

In the painting workshop on the theme of "Roots," participants explored origin, identity, and their personal roots. They worked with painting, drawing, and collage on paper, wood, and canvas.
They experimented with colors, shapes, and various materials. The resulting works were discussed together and ultimately presented in an exhibition.

In the theatre workshop, various theatre techniques focusing on body work, voice, and rhythm were explored within the context of the theme "Roots." The central focus was on examining origins, connections, and rootedness, as well as collaboration within the group. The diverse forms of expression were woven together into a cohesive artistic whole. The workshop encouraged participants to experiment boldly, reflect on personal and cultural references, and take creative risks. The goal was to foster the participants' creativity and collaboratively develop an imaginative and original performance.

In the dance workshop on the theme of "Roots," traditional and modern African dance movements were combined into a vibrant expression of rhythm, energy, and joy. The focus was on dance as a cultural practice that reflects history, community, and identity.
Together, participants explored their connection to their roots, felt the rhythm within their bodies, and experienced music as a guiding force. With great energy and expressiveness, they were able to freely shape their movements and discover their personal strength. The workshop offered an open space for everyone – regardless of prior experience – to experience the power and spirit of African dance.

In the "Experimental Music" workshop, participants improvised together, experimented, and developed their own music. The focus was on creative improvisation techniques that were theme-oriented and opened up space for personal musical ideas.
A special focus was placed on "going back to the roots" of music: Participants built and played their own monochord, thus exploring fundamental sounds and resonances.
Finally, the music created together was performed in an appreciative and open presentation, where the shared musical experience was the main focus.
