What does the city of the future look like, the city we want to live in? At the MachGrünCamp, young people explored this question through workshops and excursions from April 7th to 13th, presenting their own creative proposals. They also had the opportunity to discuss these ideas with Ingrid Müller and Julia Seim from the wannseeFORM. Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, which supports the MachGrünCamp. A detailed video documentary provides insights into the creation process of films, models, and theater scenes that the young people developed about the city of the future and the green professions within it.
The train station has solar panels on its roof, the supermarket generates its electricity from biomass grown on its facade, there are free-range chickens right next door, and you can enjoy an orchard on the roof of the high-rise. This is what the city of the future looks like, designed by participants in the construction workshop of the "Make Green!" camp. In a video, they take us on a walk through their city.
There is also extensive video documentation from all the other workshops, showing insights into and results from the "Make Green!" camp.
