Jedes Jahr findet in Berlin die Berlinale statt, ein internationales Festival, das in vielen Kinos der Stadt aktuelle Filme zeigt. Mit dem Film-Blog-Projekt bekommt ihr die Möglichkeit an diesem Ereignis teilzunehmen, Filme zu schauen, und zwar an verschiedenen Orten in der Stadt, Fragen zu stellen, die Filme zu diskutieren und darüber zu schreiben, kreativ zu sein, eigene Ideen und Projekte zu entwickeln.

Film-Blog zur Berlinale im Einzelnen:
Tag 01/ 16.2. – Kennenlernen, Einführung Festival und Sektionen, Orte und Katalog, anschließend Führung, ersten Film anschauen, darüber diskutieren, Fragen stellen
Tag 02/ 17.2. – Der Anfang: Wer sind die Hauptfiguren (Protagonist/Antagonist), woher kommen sie? Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und Filme schauen, anschließend: die ersten Beiträge für den Blog schreiben.
Tag 03/ 18.2. – Aus welcher Perspektive wird im Film erzählt? Subjektiv, neutral, allwissend? Gibt es eine Stimme aus dem Off? Weiß ich als Betrachter mehr als der Protagonist? Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und Filme schauen, anschließend: Beiträge für den Blog schreiben.
Tag 04/ 19.2. – Wo und wann spielt der Film? Welche Drehorte sehe ich, was haben sie mit den Protagonisten zu tun? Was weiß ich über die historischen Umstände, über die Vorgeschichte? Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und Filme schauen, anschließend: Beiträge für den Blog schreiben.
Tag 05/ 20.2. – Wie ist eine Filmerzählung aufgebaut? Exposition – Konfliktpunkt – Wendepunkt – Schluss – Rückwendungen – Vorausdeutungen. Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und Filme schauen, anschließend: Beiträge für den Blog schreiben.
Tag 06/ 21.2. – Was höre ich im Kino? Wie wird Musik eingesetzt? Gibt es wiederkehrende Melodien oder musikalische Themen? Sehe ich, was ich höre? Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und Filme schauen, anschließend: Beiträge für den Blog schreiben.
Tag 07/ 22.2. – Was macht der Film mit uns als Zuschauer*innen? Sind wir überfordert? Stehen wir vor Rätseln oder sind wir gelangweilt? Welche Fragen habe ich an die Filmemacher*innen? Hat der Film etwas mit mir zu tun, werde ich inspiriert nachzudenken oder ist meine Fantasie angeregt. Welche Fragen habe ich an das Filmteam? Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und Filme schauen, anschließend: Beiträge für den Blog schreiben.
Tag 08/ 23.2. – Was macht die Kamera? Wie funktioniert der Filmschnit, wie werden Farben eingesetzt? Was findet im Bild, was außerhalb des Bildes statt? Was erinnere ich, wenn ich aus dem Kino komme? Was ist meiner Wahrnehmung entgangen, was wirkt unterbewusst? Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und Filme schauen, anschließend: Beiträge für den Blog schreiben.
Tag 09/ 24.2. – Filmteam, Protagonist*innen und Darsteller*innen: Was erfahren ich in den Diskussionen nach einem Film über einen Film?
Welche Filme, Geschichten oder Ideen möchte ich umsetzten. Welches Projekt nehme ich mir vor? Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und Filme schauen, anschließend: Beiträge für den Blog schreiben.
Tag 10/ 25.2. – Abschluss: Gemeinsam ins Kino gehen und einen letzten Film schauen, anschließend: Was nehme ich mit? Wie hat sich mein Blick auf Filme, auf meine Umgebung verändert? Beiträge für den Blog fertig schreiben.

Ihr braucht keine Vorkenntnisse, um am Workshop teilzunehmen. Ihr solltet Lust haben, über Filme zu diskutieren und darüber kurze Texte zu schreiben, offen sein Neues auszuprobieren und von- und miteinander zu lernen.

Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos, Eintrittskarten und Verpflegung werden von uns übernommen. Alle Teilnehmer erhalten am Ende des Workshops ein Zertifikat. Sprachen: Deutsch, Englisch und Übersetzung in andere Sprachen. Gerne können wir für die Freistellung von Sprach- und Integrationskursen ein Schreiben verfassen.

Geleitet werden die Workshops von Katja Pratschke und Gusztáv Hámos, beide sind Filmemacher*innen, Autor*innen und Dozent*innen.

Every year, the Berlinale takes place in Berlin, an international festival that shows current films in many cinemas in the city. With the Film Blog Project you get the opportunity to attend this event, to watch movies, in different places in the city, to ask questions, to discuss the films and to write about them, being creative, develop own ideas and projects.

Film-Blog-Project in detail:
day 01/ 16.2. – Get to know each other, introduction to the Berlinale, the festival sections, venues and the catalogue, followed by a tour, go to see the first film, start a discussion, exchange and asking questions.
day 02/ 17.2. – The start: Who are the main characters (protagonist / antagonist), where do they come from? Going to the cinema together and watching films, then: writing the first blog posts.
day 03/ 18.2. – From what perspective is the film told? Subjective, neutral, omniscient? Is there a voice off? As a viewer, do I know more than the protagonist? Going to the movies together and watching movies, then writing posts for the blog. Going to the movies together and watching films, then writing posts for the blog.
day 04/ 19.2. – Where and when does the narration take place? What locations do I see, what do they have to do with the protagonists? What do I know about the historical circumstances, about the prehistory?

day 05/ 20.2. – How is the movie narrative structured? Exposure – Point of conflict – Turning point – End – Returns – Preliminary interpretations. Going to the movies together and watching films, then writing posts for the blog.
day 06/ 21.2. – What do I hear in the cinema? Noises – music – voices. How is music used? Are there recurring melodies or musical themes? Do I see what I hear? Going to the movies together and watching films, then writing posts for the blog.
day 07/ 22.2. – What does the film do to us as a spectator? Is it overpowering us, confusing us, boring us?What questions do I have to the director? Does the movie has anything to do with me, does it inspires me to think or does it stimulates my imagination. What questions do I have to the film crew?

day 08/ 23.2. – What does the camera do? How does the film cut work? How are colors used? What happens in the picture, what happens outside the picture? What do I remember when I come out of the cinema? What has escaped my perception, what is subconscious? Going to the movies together and watching films, then writing posts for the blog.
day 09/ 24.2. – Film team, protagonists and actors What do I learn after a movie about a movie? Which films, stories or ideas I would like to do myself. Going to the movies together and watching films, then writing posts for the blog.

day 10/ 25.2. – Conclusion: Going to the movies together and and watch a last film, afterwards: What do I take with me? How has my view of films, of my environment changed? Finish writing posts for the blog.

Young adults refugees, age:18 to 26 are welcome to the workshop! For the workshops, you do not need any previous knowledge. If you feel like being open to new things and learning from and with each other then you will certainly be able to write about movies, starting from scratch.

The participation is for free, tickets for the movies and catering are provided by us. In the end all participants receive a certificate of the workshop. Language: German, English and translation into other languages. The Film-Blog-Project workshops are run by Katja Pratschke and Gusztáv Hámos, both are filmmakers, authors and lecturers.
