We offer space for education, encounters, and new perspectives. We promote critical thinking, creative expression, and self-determined action through political and cultural education for children and young people. Story

The WannseeFORUM was founded after 1945 as an institution for re-education. Founded as an association, now a foundation, it stands for education in democratic change. As a youth education center certified by the Council of Europe, we combine experience with innovation and develop innovative impulses for political and cultural youth education from our tradition.

Board of Trustees, Executive Board and Youth Advisory Board

volunteer to shape the development of the youth education center and work closely with the center's management. The youth advisory board brings young perspectives.

Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the foundation's central body. Members are elected for eight years. Two seats are filled by the youth advisory board. The Board of Trustees meets at least twice a year. It elects the Executive Board, oversees its work, and makes recommendations, for example, regarding the use of financial resources.

youth advisory board

The youth advisory board creates space for young perspectives at the Wannsee Forum. It stands for youth participation, co-determination, and diversity, serves on the foundation's board of trustees, and develops its own projects, such as the "sommerBÜHNE" (summer stage).
