The management of the wannseeFORUM Foundation, which operates the website www.wannseeforum.de , strives to make the website accessible in accordance with the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the German Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0).
This statement on digital accessibility is required by the Berlin Act on Barrier-Free Information and Communication Technology (BIKTG Bln). The technical requirements for accessibility are derived from BITV 2.0.

  • Images in older posts:
    For content published before 2025, alternative text is sometimes missing or insufficient. This alt text will be added gradually. Due to the extensive image archive dating back to 2012, a complete overhaul is planned for mid-2026.
    Accessible alternative: Accessible content can be provided upon request.
  • Plain language:
    Explanations in plain language are still incomplete. Additions are in progress.
  • Publications (PDF documents):
    The currently published PDFs are largely accessible. However, older publications, especially annual reports, are only partially accessible. Due to the large number of documents, a complete revision of all older documents is not possible. Upon request, we can provide accessible alternatives to the content of individual publications.
