How to reach us by public transport or car
By S-Bahn or regional train to Berlin-Wannsee
S-Bahn:
- S1 towards Wannsee (e.g. from Friedrichstraße or Potsdamer Platz)
- S7 towards Potsdam Hbf (e.g. from Alexanderplatz or Zoologischer Garten)
Regional trains:
- RE1 towards Magdeburg / Brandenburg Central Station
- RE7 towards Dessau / Bad Belzig
- RB33 towards Jüterbog
Exit: Berlin-Wannsee station
From Wannsee station by bus
Option A: to the “Rathaus Wannsee” stop (shorter walk)
- Bus 114 – direction “Pfaueninsel (Halensee)”
or Bus 118 – direction “Potsdam Stern-Center” or “Hahn-Meitner-Institute” - Travel time: approx. 3 minutes
- Get off: Wannsee Town Hall
On foot: Walk about 400 meters along Königstraße out of town, then turn left onto Hohenzollernstraße. Number 14 is on the left after a few minutes.
Option B: to the stop “Zum Heckeshorn” (directly on the street)
- Bus 114 – direction “Heckeshorn”
- Travel time: approx. 5 minutes
- Get off: To Heckeshorn
On foot: Walk about 250 meters along Hohenzollernstraße. House number 14 is on the right.
Important instructions
Note the direction indicator:
- Bus 114 → “Pfaueninsel (Halensee)” or “Heckeshorn”
- Bus 118 → “Potsdam Stern-Center” or “Wannsee”
Buses run in both directions – do not board the returning bus.
If unsure, simply ask the driver for "Rathaus Wannsee" or "Zum Heckeshorn."

From the direction of Berlin city centre
- Take the A115 city motorway (Avus) towards Potsdam.
- Take the Spanish Allee exit.
- Turn right onto Spanische Allee and follow the road.
- At the intersection with Königstraße, turn left towards Wannsee.
- After about 1.5 km, turn right onto Hohenzollernstraße.
- The WannseeFORUM is located after about 300 m on the right-hand side.
From Potsdam / Southwest
- Take the B1 / Königstraße towards Berlin-Wannsee.
- In Wannsee, turn left onto Hohenzollernstraße.
- The WannseeFORUM is located after about 300 m on the right-hand side.
Parking
- Free parking is available on Hohenzollernstrasse and the adjacent side streets.
- Please observe local parking regulations.
