Making education accessible

We see diversity and inclusion as a shared learning process for all participants and for us as an organization.

Our building is not yet fully accessible. We are working to further improve accessibility. We want everyone to be able to use our services regardless of physical or other limitations.

Diversity

Break down barriers, create access

We are constantly working to make our spaces and services more accessible. This includes, for example:

new guidance systems,
better lighting
modern technology.

In our seminars we focus on:

simple language
including methods
Accessible materials.

Our accessible rooms:

the Theatersaal with ramp and wheelchair-accessible toilet
The Atrium, including Studio Süd , is accessible by elevator
the café and the Blue Salon on the ground floor
an accessible overnight room in Landhaus
an accessible overnight room in the Atrium

We have gained experience in recent years, for example through the collaboration of sign language interpreters in seminars with the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf Children's and Youth Parliament. Such collaborations help us to implement inclusion in a vibrant and practical way.
