We, the youth advisory board, have undergone a development in recent years from which we have all benefited. The summer cultural evenings take place annually and offer a fantastic cross-section of this development. In 2024, the planning and execution went better than ever. With the help of guests and volunteers, the youth advisory board put on an event that will now be remembered by everyone involved. The performances on the open stage that day ranged from breakdance battles and poetry slams to singing and much more, all under the motto "Show your Colors," as vibrant as ever.
The goal of providing young people with a platform to showcase their talent was a resounding success – a total of 300 people graced the wannseeFORUM with their presence and participation that day. The event's success was also due to the team spirit and ambition of the youth advisory board, who threw themselves into a joint project and learned from previous events and their associated challenges. The youth advisory board extracted the best aspects from all the previous cultural evenings and combined them into one event.
The 2023 summer open-air event was filled with a professional spirit, strong teamwork, and lively communication between the federal volunteers and the wannseeFORUM. At the summer cultural evening in 2022, we celebrated our founding and all our future plans and dreams with great enthusiasm. The experience we have gained in recent years is also evident in the other events and projects of the youth advisory board. Planning the cultural evenings is smoother than ever. The pfingstLAB is also evolving, allowing us to integrate our wishes more clearly into the seminar, and it is now brimming with professionalism compared to previous years. 2024 was the year in which we functioned best as a group by far, and we have been a cohesive unit ever since; and these developments show no signs of slowing down.
For 2025, we hope for the same development and the team spirit we achieved in 2024, which we want to strengthen even further. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of the youth advisory board – especially the returning members – who actively participated and contributed this year. Here's to an even more productive and successful 2025, full of projects and wonderful new people.
