Trees are poems
that the earth
writes to the sky.
Khalil Gibran

A special experiential space is created beneath the magnificent copper beech tree.
The mighty copper beech in the garden of the wannseeFORUM Foundation has shaped the grounds in front of the listed Landhausfor well over a hundred years. With its wide-spreading crown and its tranquil presence, it creates a special open-air space for experience.
This is where participants come together – for greetings and farewells, to see presentations or perform plays, but also to experience moments of silence and inner reflection.
The beech tree is not only a meeting place for people, but also a habitat for numerous animals. Birds find shelter and nesting sites in its branches and trunk. In this way, the old tree uniquely connects nature, community, and history, and has become a vibrant centerpiece of the garden.
