“How are you?” – Exhibition against antisemitism, hatred and racism comes to Berlin

We are delighted that the exhibition “How are you? Illustratorsagainst antisemitism, hate, and racism”* is now on display in Berlin. The exhibition brings together artistic works by over 40 illustrators, featuring around 60 comics created in dialogue with those affected by antisemitism, racism, and other misanthropic ideologies. Their powerful comics create visibility, tell personal stories, and make an important contribution to social dialogue.

The exhibition, which was first presented at the International Comic Salon in Erlangen, was initiated by a group of dedicated comic artists and realized under the artistic direction of Michael Jordan and in cooperation with the cultural office of the city of Erlangen.

Special thanks go to the State Agency for Civic Education, which made the re-release of the exhibition possible. We also extend our sincere thanks to the "How Are You?", the Erlangen International Comic Salon, and especially Annika Gloystein , as well as the City of Erlangen for their outstanding collaboration and the opportunity to produce and present the exhibition again in Berlin. Furthermore, we would like to thank Nathalie Frank and Jan-Hinrich Wagner and the educational program of the New Israel Fund e.V. (NIF-Germany) for developing educational learning materials and a series of training and professional development workshops for the exhibition. A huge thank you to everyone involved in creating this unique exhibition.
