The Wannsee Forum has once again received the “Council of Europe Quality Label for Youth Centres”: From September 25-27, 2024, the team of experts from the “Council of Europe Quality Label for Youth Centres” to check our compliance with the 15 quality criteria of the quality label for youth centres.
The visit offered the team of experts not only the opportunity to meet with the board, management, staff, and youth advisory board of the wannseeFORUM, but also with key stakeholders in the field of youth education, including representatives from the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family, the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ), and the Association of German Educational Institutions (AdB).
Following the visit, the team of experts reported to the European Steering Committee for Youth (CDEJ) at its 73rd meeting on October 21, 2024. The committee decided to extend the Council of Europe's quality label for youth centers to the Wannsee FORUM Foundation for a period of five years, starting from January 1, 2022.
