Impressions from the seminar held from June 16th to 20th, 2014
The mentors, team members, or buddies come from the Hufeland School in Buch, the Alexander Pushkin School in Lichtenberg, and the Wilma Rudolph School in Zehlendorf. What unites them all is the desire to give the new seventh-grade students a warm welcome. To this end, they practiced speaking in front of large groups and independently developing and leading games throughout the week. Respectful interaction was also addressed through exercises and ongoing reflection on the group dynamics. Thus prepared, the mentors can provide valuable support to the newcomers at their respective schools and contribute to a better school culture. We wish them every success in their work.
