Following the visit of young people from Holon last December, we had planned a return visit for April during the Passover and Easter holidays. Unfortunately, this has to be postponed due to the current escalation in the Middle East.
Air raid sirens and serious attacks, even over the holidays, currently make safe travel impossible.
Our thoughts are with our partners, the young people who were our guests, and their families.
Especially in times of conflict, it becomes clear how important encounters, exchange, and mutual understanding are. Democracy thrives on dialogue, participation, and engagement – values we aim to strengthen through international youth exchanges.
We are committed to ensuring that this exchange continues. Young people should continue to have the opportunity to build bridges between cultures and work together for peace.
