The Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe recently adopted a report highlighting the crucial role of young people in building an inclusive and democratic society. The document, initiated by the Council of Europe's Youth Council, analyzes the importance of youth work in the Council of Europe's member states.
Youth education centers, such as the wannseeFORUM, which have been awarded the Council of Europe's quality label, set the highest quality standards. Referring to the report, the Council of Europe recently adopted a recommendation and resolution (No. 450/202) addressed to its member states. This is included in the report. In it, the human rights organization not only underscores the role of youth work in times of change but also highlights the importance of extracurricular education.
