Artificial intelligence (AI) is changing our everyday lives in schools and training programs, at work, in politics, and in public discourse. It influences how we learn, work, communicate with each other, and participate in society.
This makes AI an important question for our democracy:
How do we want to live, learn and work with AI when it increasingly influences our perceptions, our opinions and our decisions?

What to expect
- We explore different perspectives on AI and our digitized lives.
- With curiosity and creative ideas, we are looking for new perspectives and ways of dealing with AI, so that we can actively and consciously shape our society: online and offline, today and in the future.
Content-related questions in the seminar:
Artificial intelligence is increasingly changing how we work, communicate, and make decisions.
It often encounters us invisibly, yet powerfully, in our professional lives, on social media, and in everyday situations.
AI can provide support, simplify processes, and open up new possibilities. At the same time, it raises fundamental questions about responsibility, fairness, and transparency.
Public opinion is increasingly shifting to digital spaces. Information overload, algorithms, and AI-generated content make it difficult to distinguish reliable information from manipulation or polarization. This brings questions of credibility, digital debate culture, and democratic cohesion to the forefront.
When humans and machines work together:
- What skills do we need to critically question AI instead of blindly trusting it?
- Who decides how these systems work?
- What role does AI play in the creation, distribution, and evaluation of content?
- What constitutes a fair, respectful, and constructive discussion in the digital space?
- How are AI-supported systems changing the world of work, especially for trainees who experience these developments directly?
In this seminar, young adults in vocational training engage with these questions in a practical way.
They reflect on the impact of AI on everyday life, work, and public opinion, and explore how AI can be used responsibly and consciously.
The aim of the seminar is to empower participants to use digital and AI-supported technologies critically, reflectively and actively, and to confidently participate in democratic processes in the digital age.
