From February 9th to 13th, 2026, the artFORUM seminar on the topic of “Roots” took place at the wannseeFORUM with students from the Bettina-von-Arnim-School and the Kurt-Schwitters-School.
This week, participants explored the personal, cultural, and societal meanings of "roots" through art. Drawing on their own experiences, memories, and questions about origin, belonging, and identity, they developed diverse artistic works.
This resulted in drawings, paintings, photographs, installations and objects that interpret and visualize the theme in a variety of ways.
