In September and October 2020, it was that time again. Class representatives from the Fanny-Hensel Elementary School, the Kastanienbaum Elementary School, and the Carl-Bolle School attended the " Get Involved! Student Council in Elementary School". Due to the pandemic, it took place at different locations in Wannsee, Kreuzberg, and Mitte. Over two days, the participants explored their role. They learned more about their responsibilities and opportunities for participation. Creative and playful methods were used alternately. The children gained knowledge about the committees that are important for their work as class or student representatives in their schools. The two intensive days helped them to better manage their role as student representatives. The first of the ideas developed together during the seminar for the current school year are now making their way through the complex world of student councils. We wish them every success!
