
The Covid-19 pandemic forced those involved in extracurricular education to turn the necessity of canceling in-person seminars into an opportunity for web-based learning. The experiences and skills gained in this process should, however, continue to be used as new potential in in-person seminars and/or related online phases even after the pandemic, on a content-related, methodological, and technical level.
After a year of Covid-19, the level of experience with online learning opportunities varies considerably. However, everyone shares the need for exchange and further training.
We have tried to address this need in a nuanced way and opportunities for educators and multipliers to pursue further training, exchange, and networking . These space for diverse and varied questions, further education and discussion needs, as well as possibilities for developing ideas and networking .
We are pleased that these offers were accepted at two events in May and June 2021 and that we received very positive feedback from the participants.

Content of the two events:
May 19, 2021: Focus: Cross-cutting challenges in online formats of political youth education, encompassing both thematic and media-related topics
- In the chat – communication with participants from the large group atmosphere to individual address and support
- Microphone on – participation of participants in video conferencing tools for equal participation and inclusion of all involved?
- Post-it notes – whiteboards as a medium for everything from brainstorming to presentations for exciting online seminars)
June 2, 2021: Focus: Media-specific challenges in online formats of political youth education, from film to audio production
- Interactive information/knowledge transfer: Tools and methods – How can “dry” information/knowledge be conveyed in an interesting and interactive way?
- Methods and tools for an open, equitable, creative atmosphere for media production from film to theatre performance
- Presentation formats – internal (learning/project group) and external in front of guests/the public
- Feedback on training needs
