In March 2024, the International Easter Workshop, themed "Borders and Bridges," place at the wannseeFORUM. Young people from various European countries came together to explore how borders—whether physical, cultural, or social—influence our identity and how we can overcome these borders to build community and solidarity. In artistic workshops, participants collaborated with professional artists and developed unique art projects based on the workshop's central questions. Whether photography, film, painting, music, or dance, each group contributed their perspectives and ideas to impressive works, which were presented in a final public exhibition.
In addition to creative work, the program also included shared leisure activities and a trip to the Berlin Wall Memorial. The beautiful grounds of the wannseeFORUM on the lake shore and the relaxed atmosphere provided the perfect setting for developing ideas in an inspiring environment. The six days together offered participants not only the opportunity to deepen their artistic skills but also to forge new friendships and engage intensively with the theme of "Bridges & Borders .
