This October, the Berlin Youth Advisory Board with the Youth Advisory Board of the European Youth Education Center Magdeburg. Besides a spooky Halloween party and many icebreaker games, we exchanged project ideas and plans.
The wannseeFORUM and the EJBM are the only two youth education centers in Germany to have been awarded the Quality Label . This is precisely why the networking of the youth advisory boards is so exciting.
From October 31st to November 2nd, 2025 , the advisory boards got to know each other and gathered project ideas.

On Friday, the Berlin youth advisory board travelled from the main train station to Magdeburg. Upon arrival, the Magdeburg team gave us a short tour of the EJBM (European Youth Ministry of Berlin) and told us about their seminars and projects. Afterwards, we tried out some icebreaker games to get to know each other and learn each other's names over the weekend. In the evening, we had a Halloween party with spooky and funny costumes, where the other EJBM guests joined us, bringing international snacks.

On Saturday morning, there was a scavenger hunt through the EJBM (European Youth Ministry of Berlin), featuring exciting tools that we can also use in our work. Before the youth council members traveled to Berlin on Saturday, some members of the Magdeburg council joined us and showed us around the city. From there, we went directly to the train station, where we took a bus and train to the wannseeFORUM. Some interested participants went into the city in the evening and explored Berlin, while the rest of us had a games night.
On Sunday, the youth council members presented their work in detail. They asked each other questions that interested them and showcased projects they were proud of. This collaborative exchange allowed for learning and reflection. We were able to see what unites us and where subtle differences lie. A Padlet, a WhatsApp group, the structure of the boards, and project organization were discussed and incorporated into their own work. Of course, joint project ideas were also discussed, a topic that was addressed with great enthusiasm.
Now that a connection exists between the youth councils, we hope for regular cooperation and creative projects.
See you soon, your Youth Advisory Board
