The wannseeWERKSTATT, a workshop offered by the wannseeFORUM in cooperation with the Bettina-von-Arnim-School and the Kurt-Schwitters-School, was an artistic seminar for anyone wanting to engage intensively with art away from the everyday school routine. This year's wannseeWERKSTATT, themed "Earth and Us," took place from November 1st to November 5th at the wannseeFORUM.

How do I see my own role in the world? How do I want to leave this planet? What responsibility do I bear towards the Earth? The students explored these questions intensively in the workshops and developed their own projects. Participants could choose between comics, photography, painting, and video.

3D animation was also used in the video workshop.

Participants in the painting workshop created a large canvas by writing the word "earth" with their handprints using mud from Lake Pohlesee . The time-lapse video linked below was created in collaboration with the video workshop.

In the comic workshop, the participants created their own comic titled "Generation Zombie". The comic reading at the final presentation was a lot of fun and enjoyable.
