Immerse yourself in the world of winter fairy tales
The Little Match Girl , Mother Hulda or Father Frost : Every one of us knows at least one winter fairy tale from childhood, as the 32 students of the Carlo-Schmid-Oberschule already discovered at the beginning of the seminar in the wannseeFORUM (14-19 December 2014).
In small groups and under the guidance of artists, the participants explored through music , theater , and dance , grappling with questions such as: What motifs can be found in the various (winter) fairy tales, and what is their significance? To what extent are fairy tales still relevant today? What does security feel like, and what about loneliness? And what does winter actually sound like?
On the penultimate day of the seminar, the participants presented their artistic responses to invited family members and friends, transporting them – even without the use of artificial snow – into a wonderful winter fairytale world.
