Seminar “Further training for welcome mentors” at the wannseeFORUM Foundation from November 5th to 9th, 2018
The seminar aims to foster cohesion between regular and welcome classes at schools. The goal is to support participating schools in establishing a mentoring program that addresses this challenge. Participants will gain an understanding of their future role as welcome mentors, explore the origins of prejudice, and reflect on their own behavior. This includes activities such as joint lesson planning and break activities, field trips, and parties. The seminar culminates in a concrete action plan for their own school, designed to bring all students together and contribute to a welcoming school culture, thereby ultimately shaping an inclusive society.
