In the summer of 2021, the project “WANNSEEforum-mitMACHEN” was launched to strengthen the participation of young people in the wannseeFORUM foundation. The project aims to establish a youth advisory board, led by young people, for young people.
Over the next few months, a core group will work on how the needs, wishes, and suggestions of project participants can be more effectively integrated into the wannseeFORUM. Through regular meetings, a concept for integrating the youth advisory board into the foundation will be developed, likely by May 2022.
The advisory board consists of young people who regularly participate in educational programs at the wannseeFORUM foundation and are motivated to contribute their own project ideas. The WANNSEEforum-mitMachen project is led by Marcellina Massenbach and Klara Liebig.
About the leaders: Klara Liebig and Marcellina Massenbach each completed their Federal Volunteer Service (Bundesfreiwilligendienst) through the "Voluntary Year of Participation" program at the wannseeFORUM Foundation in 2017/2018 and 2018/2019, respectively. After their volunteer service, Marcellina began her studies in Educational Science and Klara in Theatre Studies. Alongside their studies, the leaders of the youth advisory board remain closely connected to the foundation and are also active in political and cultural youth education outside of the wannseeFORUM.
