Our protection concept for children and young people
The well-being of children and young people is at the heart of our work. That's why we've developed a child and youth protection policy. It helps us protect young people, identify risks early, and act quickly in emergencies.
The concept shows:
- How we prevent it.
- What we will do in an emergency.
- How we can take responsibility together.
Our protection concept
In 2025, we developed a new child and youth protection concept through a collaborative process.
This involved staff, the youth advisory board, children, young people, cooperation partners, freelance staff, and other internal bodies. The process was professionally supported by the Berlin Child Protection Center, including through workshops for staff in all areas.
