Political education strengthens participation

We promote political education that encourages participation. Young people engage with key issues facing our society. They learn to understand themselves and others better and discover that their actions matter on topics such as the rise of the right wing, climate change, Europe, elections, and civic engagement. The aim of our programs is to strengthen participants' understanding of democracy and to enable them to experience co-determination and self-efficacy. Participants learn about different opinions and perspectives. They engage in lively debate and develop a sense of their responsibility within society. Through artistic workshops, excursions, and informative presentations, we create a space for expanding knowledge, developing their own ideas, critical thinking, and active participation.

One's own life world as a starting point

In our seminars, we take the experiences and interpretations of young people seriously. We encourage participants to critically examine their world. They learn to perceive themselves as human beings with mind, heart, and hands, whose lives are influenced by politics. Young people in a Voluntary Social Year (FSJ) or students discover how they can contribute to social processes. Topics such as resource distribution, power, and access to education are central. Questions arise about privilege, barriers, and a society characterized by diversity, openness, and justice. The European Convention on Human Rights provides guidance in this process.

Local and international collaborations

Our programs are developed in close collaboration with partners . As a reliable partner, we jointly develop ideas and implement projects. Together, we empower participants to engage in social discourse and take a stand on current issues. Together with our partners in Israel, we promote dialogue. We are committed to respect and mutual understanding.
